picaso & andy warhol

PICASSO

After basing more than half of my project at college on Pablo Picasso, I am very familiar with a lot of his work. The way in which he creates his art is through an unfamiliar miss-shaped movement morphing the face into different shapes. His paintings have given me inspiration for an oil-like painting, but using the face as my canvas.

ANDY WARHOL

Andy Warhol is another one of my favourite artist's, purely because of the great colourful pop art which he creates. Like Warhol, I too love colour. Below is one of his most famous art prints of Marilyn Monroe. He tended to use the faces of Icons of that time including Michael Jackson another one of my favourites of his work! Pop art again is my preferred art genre because of it's loudness on the canvas or print. It's never dull, and always eye catching; I can't help but stare.

KARLA POWELL POPART WORKSHOP

Karla Powell is a celebrity make-up and hair stylist, and won best make-up blogger. She believed in herself and her dreams and made them happen which makes her a really inspiring artist for me. The images above show a pop art workshop that she did for Crown Brush. I love the work she creates, it's all amazing!
